A native of Marlette, Michigan, Dr. Morgan attended Michigan State University, majoring in Engineering Arts. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1984 from the Illinois College of Optometry. He completed a clinical rotation in low vision at the Illinois Visually Handicapped Institute in Chicago.He has practiced in Sarasota since 1985.
Dr. Morgan is a board certified optometric physician. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Southern Council of Optometry and the Manasota Society of Optometry where he is a past president.
Dr. Morgan is married to Bobbi Morgan. They have two daughters, Katie and Kristy. Kristy is married to Logan Lowder. Both daughters are graduates of Sarasota High School. Kristy and Logan are graduates of Belmont University and live in Nashville, TN. Katie is a graduate of Hope College, North Florida University and the University of Florida. She is married to Dr. Robert Wunderle and lives in Atlanta, GA.
